2019 - Present

Modernity, Nature and Humans = Confusion. Nature is never obsolete, modernity eventually becomes obsolete so we can never be fulfilled or keep up. We ignore the natural world. Modernity is leaving humanity behind. Nature will always reclaim what is left behind.

The homeless are the modern hunters and gathers, shunned by our artificial society. After photographing several people in Chicago, I interpreted the photographs into oil paintings, aiming to capture the human experience and spirit of each individual.
