Ghost Ranch, New Mexico

As an Artist in residence at Ghost Ranch, Diane was drawn to particular places on the expansive ranch to photograph and paint. She was most inspired by Orphan Mesa, a transcendent rock formation constantly altered by the light.
Diane was fascinated by the beauty, and spent much of her time recording memories and thoughts with photos and gouache paintings. Later, she worked to translate them into high fire fused glass pieces.
